All of Unitherms heatpumps have electrical booster operations. This can be used to compliment the heatpump at periods of high domestic hot water consumption for faster reaction times. Please view instructional video below to activate booster mode. If you have no hot water for over 24hours please view fault codes section further down this page.
Unitherm supply heating systems that are zone controlled by wall thermostats. The thermostat will display the current room temperature for that particular zone. It is important to set the thermostat at a desirable temperature for that zone. The SEAI recommend 21 degrees for living areas and 18 degrees for sleeping areas but it is important to choose whatever temperature is comfortable.

Another reason for rooms not getting up to temperature can be down to a simple adjustment of the heating circuit flow temperature on the heatpump controller. Upon commissioning, the heatpump is set to the most efficient temperature suitable for the building design to the keep energy consumption to a minimum but with colder outdoor temperatures this may need to be adjusted. A simple indication as to when this will need to be done is if your room thermostats have a constant call for heating (Flame symbol or heat waves)
Please select model below for common fault codes.
Yes, your heatpump comes with an emergency mode for certain faults. This is a temporary measure to provide moderate hot water and heating until your plumber / installer arrives.
If the above video doesn’t solve your issue, please check the fan blade condition on the outdoor unit.
